Yummy Yummy I Got Lobsters in My Tummy

Lunch today was yummy! We were en route from Groton, Connecticut, to Maine, and stopped for for some fresh steamed lobsters at the Fish Shack! Nothing beats a steaming plate of New England lobster, complete with melted butter and corn on the cob!

Btw, Rockport is a beautiful seaside town! Very quaint and very New England! Right outside of Boston.

hiking to flume gorge

If you ever find yourself near the White Mountains of New Hampshire, you must save a day for a hike to the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park. It's one of the most beautiful hikes in the world! Especially in the fall!

There's no place I'd rather be each autumn than breathtaking New England!

My sister and I are crazy about Mark Ruffalo! He's the new "Prince Charming" in our family!

the mind behind the gilmore girls

My baby sister has been telling me to watch her new favorite show for a while now, and I haven't paid attention to it much until one day she gave me the DVD set of Gilmore Girls Season 1. I spent the entire weekend in front of the TV watching one episode after another. To say I'm hooked is to put it mildly. This is my most favorite TV series ever! Ever! :)

Here's an NPR interview of Amy Sherman Palladino, the writer and creator of Gilmore Girls. To me, she's the show's parent (along with her husband who's the co-writer of the show). This WB series is amazing. I hope you get a chance to watch it too!

a lot like love

A Lot Like Love was the reigning movie when we hit LA this week. I love it because Amanda Peet's character is a photographer. Snapped this shot when we were on the hunt for the Hollywood sign photo-op spot. It was an unsuccessful attempt however. All we got out of that was a tummy full of delicious Pink hot dogs.

So welcome friends! This is where my blog starts. I'm brand new to blogging and need to find my way around. So far so good though. Writing this blog and taking pictures are mainly to help make-up for my quickly-fading memory. But I'm not worried about it, not really. Didn't Katherine Hepburn say "Happines is good health and a short memory"? Oh wait, it wasn't Ms. Hepburn. It was Ingrid Bergman. See what I mean?
